The most well-known Aussie inventions are
the refrigerator, electric drill and rotary clothes
lines which were introduced decades ago.
And the latest Aussie invention that
can make boating on a
sunny day hassle free –
It is common to
get splashes of water
drops while wearing
sunglasses on water,
whether you are on a
power boat, yacht or
jet-ski. With self-clean
lenses is much easier.
Sacuba frames are
specially designed with built-in lens cleaning
pads around the lens’ edge. When the lens
gets smudgy, simply push the lens up from the
bottom edge and lower it back down, this allows
the cleaning pads to wipe off the smudge from
the passing lens surface. The cleaning pads are
made from high-end microfiber – the same
material we use for cleaning lenses to effectively
remove dust, water drops and even skin oil.
To celebrate this new invention, Sacuba
Eyewear is now offering an introductory price
of $90 with free deliver y from their online store.

Airhead marine toilets – a better
way to go!
As ‘No Discharge Zones’ increase in
Australia’s marinas, coastal passages, lakes
and marine national parks, boat owners are
restricted from discharging effluent over the
side. With existing marine toilet systems, many
see the alternative to be the installation of
expensive holding tanks or messy and odorous
Holding tanks are harder to retrofit
in existing boats that weren’t built with
space for the tank and
macerator. And dump
points are often hard
to find, and let’s face
it – never a nice job.
Chemical toilets can
also only be emptied
at designated points or
pumpout stations and
must never be emptied
into the land based
or septic systems.
The Airhead Marine Composting Toilet
offers several advantages over conventional
holding tanks, with the convenience of extended
use and the infrequent, easy disposal of
resulting ‘solid’ waste that will be partially
composted after just a few months. Best of all,
there is NO odour from the toilet. No Discharge.
No smelly or blocked pipes to replace. No
chemicals. And no water.
