stands unchallenged as the largest
and most important recreational boating

Owned and organised by the Boating
Industry Association (BIA), the industry’s
peak body, and a member of the prestigious
International Federation of Boat Show
Organisers (IFBSO), SIBS has consistently
delivered an excellent balance of products
to meet the needs of both experienced
boaters together with an abundance of
education to help new entrants to the
recreational boating market.
The event has become the annual
pilgrimage for those regularly on the
water, or a must visit location for those
wanting to do so.
Helping to make the event so popular
is the huge array of large vessels on display
on the marina. Key Australian brands like
Riviera and Maritimo regularly use the
event to unveil new releases for the world
market. This year will be no exception ...
keep an eye out for the anticipated release
of the Riviera 4800 SY due to make it world
premiere at the show.
With Australia a world leader in boat
manufacturing, it is not uncommon to see
international players walking the marina or
aisles of the undercover displays, learning
from some of the best boat manufacturing
minds in the world.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this is
a show for locals only. The event brings
visitors from around the country, New
Zealand and from further abroad, key

Catering for many of the diverse boating
tastes, sports boats such as water ski,
wake and PWCs, will be accompanied by
family cruisers and the ever so popular
fishing vessels – fishing rigs and gear
feature heavily among a huge display of
recreational boating fun.
