Classic Boat Supplies
2016 was another great year for Classic
Boat Supplies – Australia’s largest supplier
of cabin hardware, deck hardware, rope and
fastenings for the traditional and wooden
Over 300 brass and bronze products were
added to our range from manufacturers such
as Davey, Wilmex and Langman Ropes. We
also moved to a new larger shop in Sydney.
And 2017 promises to be just as busy with
three new supplier relationships already.
One of our most popular products is
Langman’s Hempex rope – a 3-strand UV-
stabilised polypropylene rope from Holland.
Hempex has the look of traditional rope but
will outlast natural fibre rope outdoors. Easily
spliced, Hempex is a popular and economical
rope with a wide variety of applications.

On water dry boat storage
On water dry boat storage for vessels up
to 28 feet in length or to a maximum weight
of 4.3 tonnes has been hugely successful at
Birkenhead Point Marina.
Tenants are going for the “stress free”
storage option making light work of boat
maintenance. The vessel is stored completely
out of the water on an AirBerth situated within
its own berth on the marina, providing you
with more time to enjoy your prized asset and
eliminating the need to anti-foul.
Unlike other storage options, the on
water dry boat storage at Birkenhead Point
Marina gives you unlimited access 24/7 to
use your boat any time of the day or night
at your leisure. The AirBerth is simple to use
and takes only minutes to put the boat into
and out of the water.
We currently have 11 Airberths at
the Marina and our final three arrive mid
February. To secure an Airberth please contact
Phil McGowen on (02) 9819 6949.
